LONI provides the necessary raw capacity for advances in multiple domains. However, our cyberinfrastructure is more than a stack of equipment and wires. The LONI Network and HPC units are a human-supported venture in advanced and computational infrastructure that enables scientists, researchers, and users from all domain disciplines across the state to fully exploit the capabilities of LONI while simultaneously supporting digital activities for teaching, learning, and administrative functions.
LONI uses the ITIL framework to organize its processes and manpower according to Service Strategy, Service Design, and Service Operations.
