Driving Instructions:

If coming from Lafayette, Baton Rouge, New Orleans –

  • I-10 West to I-49
  • I-49 Nort to Exit 138
  • Take a right off the exit ramp on Hwy 6
  • Continue through 2 traffic lights
  • Turn right into the NSU library parking lot

If coming from Lake Charles –

  • Take 171 North to Leesville.
  • From there You can:
    • a. take Hwy 117 North until it hits Hwy 6 or
    • b. stay on Hwy 171 until Many, then turn right onto Hwy 6
  • Travel on Hwy 6 to Natchitoches
  • Turn right into the NSU library parking lot

If coming from Monroe –

  • Take Hwy 165 South towards Alexandria
  • Turn right on Hwy 84 past Tullos
  • Stay on Hwy 84 until you reach Natchitoches
  • Turn right onto the Hwy 1 Bypass
  • Follow the Bypass; at stop sign turn left
  • Continue to second traffic light (Brookshires on left) – turn left at the traffic light onto University Parkway
  • Continue on University Parkway to 2nd traffic light – turn right into the LSMSA High School parking lot (corner of University Parkway and Caspari Street)

If coming from Ruston –

  • Take Hwy 167 South towards Winnfield
  • Take Hwy 84
  • Stay on Hwy 84 until you reach Natchitoches
  • Turn right onto the Hwy 1 Bypass
  • Follow the Bypass; at stop sign turn left
  • Continue to second traffic light (Brookshires on left) – turn left at the traffic light onto University Parkway
  • Continue on University Parkway to 2nd traffic light – turn right into LSMSA High School parking lot (corner of University Parkway and Caspari Street)

If coming from Shreveport –

  • Take I -49 South until Exit 138
  • Take a left off the exit ramp on Hwy 6
  • Continue thru 2 traffic lights

Join us for a deep dive into Routing Integrity and why RPKI-ROA (Resource Public Key Infrastructure – Route Origin Authorization) is critical in securing BGP routes. We’ll explore how RPKI helps prevent route hijacking, enhances trust in internet routing, and ensures your network’s prefixes are properly authenticated.

Key Areas of Focus:

      • Next-Generation Cyberinfrastructure – Expanding LONI’s backbone to support AI, quantum computing, and emerging research needs.
      • Statewide Cybersecurity Strategy – Strengthening LONI SOC’s role as a cybersecurity intelligence hub.
      • AI, HPC, & Data Innovation – Creating a statewide research data commons to drive innovation.
      • Workforce Development & Economic Growth – Establishing an AI & cybersecurity talent pipeline to support Louisiana’s digital economy.

This roundtable will be an opportunity to shape the future of LONI and ensure a seamless transition of leadership. The insights gathered will directly inform strategic priorities for the next Executive Director, ensuring that LONI remains a driving force for research, education, and technological advancement.
